Japan Day welcomes individual donations. You can make a donation through PayPal as well as by sending a check.
Japan Day Inc. is a non-profit organization (NPO 501(c) 3) and your contribution will be tax deducatible to the extent allowed by the law. For donations above $250, we will send you a receipt for tax purposes if you furnish us with the necessary information (name, address, donation amount); please keep this receipt for your records.
Even though the world economy has been in a critical condition, Japan Day has grown strongly as we serve our mission in the New York community. We highly appreciate your kind support that will help Japan Day become even more of a successful event.
Every year we collect donations at the charity tent located at our Street Fair to benefit a worthy cause. For 2023, we will be sending collected donations to the following organizations. The Ukrainian National Women’s League of America, to aid the victims of the ongoing War in Ukraine. Also, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (via the American Red Cross), to aid the victims of the recent Türkiye-Syria Earthquake.
