This year, we are honored to include Senri Oe, a jazz pianist, as one of our jurors. Among many submissions for the contest, the work of Lindsie Jean Palmer was selected as the winner of the Senri Award for its outstanding quality. Lindsie’s work is also among the Honorable Mentions.

“Her artwork is very bright and has the strength and delicateness of human living in 2015. I also felt humor within her work. As a Japanese citizen living in New York, I felt an immediate connection to this piece of artwork above all others.”
